What people tell us

“This is not the oil we used to cook with.”

Meera K. — Brampton, ON

From seed to bottle

The wooden ghani way

Eight unhurried steps, the same for every oil we press.

  1. 01

    Seed Selection

Mustard, sesame, flax, almond, kalonji, peanut and coconut are sourced from trusted growers and graded by hand.

  2. 02

    Cleaning

Seeds and nuts are de-stoned, sieved and air-cleaned to remove dust, chaff and foreign matter.

  3. 03

    Drying

Gentle sun and air drying brings moisture to the exact level the press needs.

  4. 04

    Cold Pressing

A slow wooden press turns at low RPM so no oil in the range ever overheats.

  5. 05

    Natural Filtration

Oil rests and settles, then passes through cloth filters. No chemical refining.

  6. 06

    Storage

Held in stainless steel, away from light and air, until the day it is bottled.

  7. 07

    Packaging

Filled into UV-protective amber glass and sealed with a tamper-evident cap.

  8. 08

    Oil Cake Reuse

The leftover seed cake returns to farms as high-protein cattle feed and fertiliser.

Why Golden Drops

The slow way is the only way we know

Industrial oil is fast, hot and chemically stripped. Ours is not. We press cold, filter naturally and accept a lower yield, because everything that makes a seed or nut worth using — flavour, aroma, colour and nutrition — lives in the parts refining throws away.

  • Cold pressed at low temperature
  • No chemicals or solvents
  • Traditional wood-press process
  • Eight single-origin oils
  • Premium graded seeds and nuts
  • Rich in Omega 3 & 6

Cook the way it was meant to taste

Process

Why cold pressing changes everything

Heat is efficient. It is also destructive. Here is what happens to a mustard seed at 40°C versus 200°C, and why we accept a lower yield.
